Song Review - "Break Me - Mark Sheibley"

"The sounds that started off the intro of this track were indescribable, and I am not even sure what sort of instrument was capable of producing them.It might have been a stringed instrument, or it might have been a piece of machinery; I was honestly stumped. The heavy guitars tore through this track and stomped like mastodons over frozen tundra. The singing was cruel and delicious, and really fit with the tone and mood of the song. I really like the different studio effects used in the song, particularly the vocal distortion, as it added to the suspense of the song. It was an edgy, daring, and audacious number that fans of progressive rock will like, as well as lovers of hard rock, alternative, and experimental. The guitar solo squealed and shredded alternately, making a great center piece for the track. The vocals had intensity and raw power, and the instrumentation had a brutality to it.The vocal effects were really cool, and I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this track."
